Sam
Hi, I’m Sam – owner of AquaPups! With a lifelong love of swimming and over five years running AquaPups, I’m passionate about helping others feel confident and safe in the water. I bring years of teaching, lifeguarding, and competitive swimming experience to create a warm, supportive space for every swimmer. Welcome all!

Georgie
Meet Georgie – a dedicated swimming teacher with over 20 years of experience helping children build confidence in the water. As a proud mum of four, she brings warmth, patience, and encouragement to every lesson. Working at a local primary school, also helps her passion for supporting learners continue.

Robyn
Robyn has taught swimming for 20 years. She teaches our weekday Parent & Baby and pre-school lessons. Coming from a competitive swimming background herself, Robyn has always loved the water, whether it’s the ocean, a lake or a swimming pool! She finds it rewarding when she can pass on her love for the water to others.

Paul
Meet Paul – a passionate swimming teacher and former triathlete who finds real joy in helping swimmers progress, from first strokes to confident laps. After a career in engineering consulting and years of Ironman training, Paul shifted focus to teaching one of his favourite sports. He believes swimming is an essential life skill.

Fernanda
Meet Fernanda – a former competitive swimmer from Brazil with 5 years of teaching experience. She recently completed her first open water triathlon in Cardiff! Swimming has always come naturally to Fernanda, and she loves sharing that passion through fun, engaging lessons that help swimmers grow in skill and confidence. Anything is possible with a little bit of courage!

Lily
Meet Lily – Sam’s daughter and our brilliant resident lifeguard! Having grown up around pools, swimming lessons, and lifeguarding, it’s no surprise she’s followed in the family footsteps. Lily became a qualified lifeguard at just 16 and now plays a key role in supporting our holiday camps, pool parties, and general poolside safety. You’ll likely see Lily stepping into a teaching role soon.

Hysen
Meet Hysen – originally from Greece, Hysen is a qualified lifeguard who recently expanded into swim teaching. He’s passionate about helping swimmers of all ages and abilities build confidence, strong technique, and a calm, positive relationship with the water. His lessons are structured, motivating, and designed to create lasting progress both in and out of the pool.

Galia
Meet Galia, she loves teaching swimming and motivating children and adults depending on their capabilities and strengths. She has a passion for SEN and realise swimming is an opportunity for not only teaching a lifeskill, but also meeting their sensory needs in the pool. Her strengths and patience and perseverence and enthusiasm and enjoys making swimming a possitive learning experience
